ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Jess and I'm the founder of Fit Strong Fairy Mom.

I have been a yoga teacher, and a professional fairy for over a decade, a professional fairy herder (unrelated to being a professional fairy), and mother of the wildest little chaos gremlin for the last 3 years.
I have "accidentally" specialized in pain free mobility because of my own chronic pain condition, and I have made it my mission to help as many people as possible improve their mobility and to live with as little pain as possible; especially my fellow Neurospicy, Hypermobile, Chronic illness having folks.

My Story

I had dabbled in yoga as far back as 2008, after a horrendous car accident left me with a stiff achey body my yoga journey truly began in 2013 when a friend invited me to try a hot yoga class at the studio where she taught. It was an incredibly transformative experience and I was HOOKED. I attended quite a few more classes and even started to seriously consider going through the teacher training that they offered. At the time, I worked at a desk in a corporate office and began to form a plan to go through the studio's YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) program on the weekends, at a slower pace, so that I could continue to work while. All of that changed a few months later when a tragic and traumatic event took place at the office where I worked. This led me to decide to "take the leap"; I quit my job, and signed up for the Intensive 500 Hour YTT course.

And I have not once regretted it in the more than 10 years that I've been teaching.
